GEC was established in 1985 as an Illinois Corporation to provide energy conservation services to institutional and industrial facilities. We have grown into a multi-discipline organization, providing a host of specialized engineering services.
We specialize in the design of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and security systems for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities. We work with architects and specialty consultants to provide a full range of MEP engineering and architectural services to our clients.
Our work experience includes projects with government, criminal justice, educational, healthcare, religious institutions, research laboratories, multi-use commercial buildings, parking structures, manufacturing plants, process plants, and power generating stations.
